Diana Lowe has broad experience in the both the medical research and health-care fields. She worked to support research investigators at the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute in La Jolla, California, and served as the District Coordinator for the Palm Drive Health Care District in Sebastopol, California, and as Executive Assistant to the CEO of Palm Drive Hospital, which was owned and operated by the District. In these positions, Diana dealt with issues such as board compliance, public enquiry, legal issues, accreditation reviews and tax exemption structure. Still, one of Diana’s most valuable skills, that should not be understated, is her knowledge of the ‘mechanics’ of developing and submitting grant proposals to regional and national funding organizations.
